Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sublyte ("we", "us") handles information across the Sublyte mobile app and this website. The short version: the subscription data you enter in the app stays on your device, and this website collects only the minimum needed to run and improve it.

1. The app: your data stays on your device

Everything you enter in the Sublyte app — subscription names, prices, billing dates, categories, and notes — is stored locally on your device using encrypted on-device storage. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we cannot see it. The app does not connect to your bank, email, or any financial institution; all entries are manual.

2. Purchases

When you buy Sublyte Premium, the purchase is processed by Apple or Google and by our payments provider, RevenueCat. To unlock and validate your purchase, RevenueCat receives a non-identifying purchase receipt and an anonymous app-user identifier. This is used only to manage your subscription status — it is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking. We never receive your payment-card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

3. This website

When you visit sublyte.app, our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as your IP address and user agent) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode: by default, analytics storage is denied and no analytics cookies are set until you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics does not store cookies on your device. We do not use advertising cookies, do not build advertising profiles, and do not sell your data.

4. Cookies

We use only two kinds of cookies/local storage: (a) a small record of your cookie choice so we don't ask again, and (b) Google Analytics cookies, which are set only after you accept. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can change your choice anytime via 'Cookie preferences' in the footer. Google's use of data is described in Google's Privacy Policy; we have enabled IP anonymization and consent-gated analytics. The app itself sets no cookies at all.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the product work (app stores and RevenueCat for purchases; our hosting and analytics providers for the website), each acting on our instructions, and only as needed to provide the service or comply with law.

6. Your rights and choices

Because the app stores your content on-device, you are always in control: export a backup file at any time, or use "Delete All Data" in Settings to erase everything instantly. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we process; contact us to exercise them.

7. Children

Sublyte is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. We collect no data beyond the anonymous purchase information described above.

8. International users

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for any such transfers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
