Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Sublyte website and app. By using either, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Sublyte is a personal tool that helps you manually track subscriptions and recurring bills, calculate totals, and schedule local reminders. It is provided for personal, informational use only.

2. Not financial advice

Sublyte does not provide financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice. Totals, projections, and reminders are estimates based solely on the information you enter and may not reflect your actual charges. You are responsible for managing and cancelling your own subscriptions and for any decisions you make. See our Disclaimer for more.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the app store you obtained it from. On Apple platforms, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and governs where it conflicts with these Terms.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Some features require a one-time purchase or an auto-renewing subscription ("Premium"). Price and billing period are shown at the point of purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them anytime in your app store account settings. A "Lifetime" purchase is a single one-time payment that does not auto-renew. Payment is charged to your app store account, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, no attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access, and no use that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

6. Content and intellectual property

The Sublyte name, app, website, and articles are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Article content may be quoted briefly with attribution and a link back to the source.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any missed charges, unwanted renewals, or financial losses arising from your use of or reliance on the service.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or modify the service over time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or end access where necessary to protect the service or comply with law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
